Is amazing how camera friendly this one is - just paused a minute to see what I was up to and then promptly went back to eating.  He didn't seem one bit bothered by how close I got up to him!!

  2. Are you in Canada? I've never seen black squirrels outside Canada. You make him look cute, but I still dont like what they do to my garden! :S

  15. Wonderful creature, and you captured it very well! Its coat is so shiny! It reminds me of our new German Shepherd pup who also has such shiny black coat. Here, in the Pacific Northwest, we have grey squirrels. Last time I saw a black squirrel in the Russian Far East, log, long ago. Your shot brought me nice memories. Thank you!
