The Lone Cypress Tree is a salt pruned tree tree which is the official symbol of Pebble Beach and a frequent fixture of television broadcasts from this area.  The tree is about 200 years old and stands alone on a rock.  It is supported by cables and access to near the tree is restricted so as to preserve the tree.
